CLEMSON — Clemson is set to hold an emergency Board of Trustees meeting today at 2 p.m.

The school has been trending all weekend on social media, as lawmakers, media and others have been upset about Clemson University not being quick and decisive in firing three school employees that made inappropriate remarks on social media regarding the death of Charlie Kirk.

The following statement was released by Clemson University ahead of Monday’s board meeting.
