The College GameDay selections are in for Week 4 of the college football season.
ESPN’s College GameDay crew has made their picks (against the spread) for today’s matchup between Clemson (1-2) and Syracuse (2-1) at Death Valley.
Clemson has won six straight games overall against Syracuse.
The Tigers are 10-2 all-time against Syracuse but 5-0 against the Orange in Death Valley. This year’s game marks Syracuse’s first visit to Memorial Stadium since 2022, a 27-21 win in which then-freshman Cade Klubnik entered in reserve at quarterback and helped the Tigers overcome an 11-point fourth quarter deficit in the victory.
Clemson comes in as a 17.5-point favorite on the spread for the game (12 p.m., ESPN).
You can see the picks from the College GameDay analysts below (picks against the spread):
Desmond Howard:
“I think the Cuse will cover this. I’m going with the Cuse to cover.”
Nick Saban:
“I think Clemson will bounce back after last week’s disappointment. But I don’t think they’ll win by 17.5. I’ll take Syracuse (to cover).”
Pat McAfee:
“I think (the Orange) cover the 17.5…”
Kirk Herbstreit:
“(The Tigers) blow Syracuse out. Whenever Dabo plays these games during the week, he’s sending a message to his team. I think they get back on track. Antonio Williams, who’s only played five snaps all year, expected to be back, which could really help that offense.”
