Clemson continues to nosedive in this national outlet’s college football rankings.
After starting the season at No. 4, the Tigers (1-3, 0-2 ACC) have plunged all the way to No. 59 in the latest CBS Sports 136 rankings of every team in the FBS.
It’s a 10-spot fall from where the Tigers were, at No. 49, in the previous CBS Sports 136.
Ohio State remains the No. 1 team in the updated CBS Sports rankings, with Oregon, Miami, Ole Miss and Indiana rounding out the top five.
After Miami, Georgia Tech (No. 17) and Florida State (No. 19) are the other two ACC teams in the top 25 of the latest CBS Sports 136.
Coming out of its open date this past weekend, Clemson is set to face North Carolina on Saturday in Chapel Hill (12 p.m., ESPN). The Tar Heels are No. 89 in the updated CBS Sports rankings.
