In-State LB Returning to Clemson

An in-state prospect is set to return to Clemson later this month.

2027 LB Bubba Alexander (Hammond) tells The Clemson Insider that he plans to visit for the Tigers’ home matchup against SMU on October 18.

“Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to get to know a lot of the coaches and staff,” Alexander told TCI. “So I’m really looking forward to getting to see everyone and catching up. I’m also really looking forward to watching the team play.”

The in-state talent has been a frequent visitor to Clemson. He’s been working out at camp every summer since he was a youth and visited last season for Clemson’s win over NC State. He also visited twice back in the spring, including for the spring game.

Alexander has already taken game-day visits to The Citadel, Charlotte and South Carolina this season.

On top of starring at linebacker, he also plays some running back and is averaging more than six yards per carry.
