Tigers Strike Quickly to Take Lead with Trick Play

It didn’t take long at all for Clemson to dent the scoreboard in today’s game at North Carolina.

On the first play from scrimmage, Clemson ran a trick play, and it worked to perfection.

Clemson scored a touchdown on its first play to take a 7-0 lead just 11 seconds into the contest.

Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik threw a screen pass to wide receiver Antonio Williams, and he threw a strike down the sideline to fellow wide receiver T.J. Moore for a 75-yard touchdown.

Williams has now completed all four of his career pass attempts for 143 yards and two touchdowns.
