Clemson continues to rise in this national outlet’s college football rankings.
Following last Saturday’s 41-10 win at Boston College, the Tigers (3-3, 2-2 ACC) now sit at No. 52 in the latest CBS Sports 136 rankings of every team in the FBS.
Clemson was previously No. 58 in the CBS Sports 136 rankings after the win at North Carolina in Week 6. The Tigers started the season at No. 4 in the same rankings.
Rival South Carolina is one spot ahead of Clemson at No. 51.
Ohio State and Miami remain the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the updated CBS Sports rankings, respectively, with Indiana, Texas Tech and Texas A&M rounding out the top five.
After Miami, Georgia Tech (No. 10) and Virginia (No. 20) are the other two ACC teams in the top 25 of the latest CBS Sports 136.
Clemson is the ninth highest-ranked ACC team, behind Miami, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Louisville (No. 29), Duke (No. 30), SMU (No. 33), Pittsburgh (No. 41) and Florida State (No. 44).
Coming off the victory over Boston College, Clemson is set to face SMU (4-2, 2-0 ACC) on Saturday at Death Valley (3:30 p.m., ACC Network).
