Clemson Offers Former Penn State Commit

Clemson’s search for one more cornerback in the 2026 class continues, and late Wednesday, a new offer went out.

Shortly after going public with a decommitment from Penn State, three-star CB Julian Peterson announced an offer from the Tigers. Peterson also announced new offers from North Carolina and Wisconsin.

Peterson committed to the Nittany Lions back in January, but is one of many decommits the program has suffered since the firing of head coach James Franklin.

The 6-foot-2 DB also holds offers from Georgia, Missouri, Minnesota, Boston College and Pitt, among others.

Clemson currently holds commitments from two corners in the 2026 class, but has been looking to add a third after not signing one in 2025.
