Brad Brownell has added a third member to Clemson’s 2026 recruiting class.

Shooting guard Amare James (Wheeler, GA) announced a verbal pledge on Tuesday night, choosing the Tigers over Southern Indiana, Evansville, and Alcorn State, among others.

The 6-foot-6 prospect helped lead his team to a 6A state title in Georgia last season.

James joins four-star guard Harris Reynolds and four-star center Will Stevens as members of Clemson’s 2026 class.
