Clemson Player in Boot Following Louisville Game

A Clemson true freshman offensive lineman left the locker room with a walking boot on following the Tigers’ 20-19 win at 20th-ranked Louisville on Friday night.

Brayden Jacobs, who started at left guard against the Cardinals, had a boot on his left foot postgame. He was not on crutches, but had a noticeable limp.

Jacobs hurt his ankle in the postgame celebration after the game was over.

Jacobs, a highly regarded offensive lineman who is the son of former NFL running back Brandon Jacobs, has started four straight games for the Tigers dating back to the SMU game on Oct. 18.

Clemson (5-5, 4-4 ACC) returns to the field on Saturday, Nov. 22 to host Furman at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. on The CW.
