One of Clemson’s three wide receiver commits picked up a huge honor on Thursday.
Four-star Connor Salmin (Bullis School, VA) has been named the IAC (Interstate Athletic Conference) Offensive Player of the Year.
As a senior, the speedy 6-foot-2 wideout totaled 38 receptions for 807 yards, with nine touchdown catches across eight games. Salmin averaged more than 21 yards per catch and more than 100 receiving yards per game.
The blue-chip talent committed to Clemson back in March during the Elite Retreat.
“I told my parents the first time we left that it just felt different,” Salmin told TCI in a previous interview. “I knew from the first time we were there, that was the number one school I was interested in.”
Salmin is one of three wide receiver pledges for the Tigers in the 2026 recruiting class, joining fellow four-star talents Naeem Burroughs and Gordon Sellars.
