CLEMSON — A Clemson defensive end was injured early in the third quarter in Saturday’s game against Furman.
With 10:47 to play in the third quarter, Clemson defensive end Jahiem Lawson was injured on a third-and-seven play from the Furman 26-yard line. Lawson was looked at for several minutes by team trainers before he was helped off the field and carried over to the injury tent.
Lawson’s injury appears to be a lower leg injury. He was later seen walking with crutches towards the locker room.
