What They’re Saying: Clemson’s Win Over South Carolina

Clemson forced four turnovers, including a Ricardo Jones pick-six in a six-point game late in the fourth quarter, en route to a 28-14 win over South Carolina on Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium — the Tigers’ sixth consecutive victory in Columbia.

It marks Clemson’s first time winning six straight road games against South Carolina since winning in Columbia six straight times across the 1989-99 seasons. Clemson improved to 74-44-4 in the all-time series.

The win was Clemson’s fourth straight to end the regular season, as the Tigers finished with a 7-5 record, while the Gamecocks fell to 4-8 on the season.

Clemson will now wait to see where it will play in the postseason during the bowl selection show on Dec. 7.
