Clemson LB to Enter Transfer Portal

A Clemson linebacker is set to hit the NCAA transfer portal.

Dee Crayton plans to enter the portal, The Clemson Insider has confirmed.

There is only one transfer portal window this year for college football, and it opens on Jan. 2 and runs through Jan. 16.

As a redshirt sophomore this season, Crayton has played in 11 games, recording eight total tackles. He notched four tackles at North Carolina, added two tackles at Boston College and contributed two more tackles vs. Furman.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder entered the 2025 campaign credited with 25 tackles (1.5 for loss) in 213 snaps across 19 games over his first two years at Clemson from 2023-24. He had 20 tackles (0.5 for loss) in 154 defensive snaps over 14 games in 2024 after posting five tackles (one for loss) in 59 snaps over five games while redshirting in 2023.

Crayton committed to Clemson back in June 2022. The Denmark High School (Ga.) product was rated as a three-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He tallied 75 tackles as a senior, including 20 tackles for loss and four sacks, to go with two interceptions (one he returned for a score) and four forced fumbles.
