CLEMSON — Tyler Grisham has rather quietly put together another strong class of receivers at Clemson.
The Tigers signed three players at the position on Wednesday, with all three being blue-chip talents.
2026 WR Signees
- Four-star Naeem Burroughs
- Four-star Connor Salmin
- Four-star Gordon Sellers
Four-star Naeem Burroughs is the highest-rated player in the class, per multiple recruiting services. Ranking No. 35 overall at Rivals, Burroughs is a fringe five-star talent. He ranks as high as the sixth-best receiver in the class, and no service ranks him lower than No. 12 at the position.
The 5-foot-11 wideout is also a burner and dynamic with the ball in his hands, as evidenced by his more than 4,500 all-purpose yards during a stellar high school career.
Burroughs is also a track star and has posted a time of 10.59 in the 100-meter. That is moving. With Antonio Williams already confirming he is moving on after the season, the addition of Burroughs shores up the slot spot.
Four-star Connor Salmin is another burner. His was the first fax received on Wednesday morning. In fact, he’s posted track times faster than those of Burroughs. Salmin has been timed at 10.44 in the 100-meter. He earned four state titles and three All-America selections in track, and was part of a 1600 sprint medley relay team that set a national record in January 2025 (3:22.50).
Salmin had more than 1,000 receiving yards as a senior, averaging more than 17 yards per catch. The 6-foot-1 prospect is a Top 200 talent.
Four-star Gordon Sellers just helped Providence Day to another undefeated record and state title. The 6-foot-2 wideout is also a Top 200 talent who gives Clemson a third receiver who also runs track. Sellers posted a 10.93 100-meter time. He qualified for state in the 100- and 200-meter dashes as a junior.
As a senior, Sellers had 917 receiving yards with nine touchdown grabs.
Coming off the 2024 cycle that saw Bryant Wesco and T.J. Moore sign with Clemson, the Tigers only signed one receiver in the last recruiting class in three-star Ju Ju Preston. Adding these three in 2026 sets the program up nicely for the next few seasons, assuming the team doesn’t lose anyone to the transfer portal.
While Grisham is a popular target of criticism from some inside the fan base, there is no denying he is getting it done on the recruiting trail.
