Clemson DB Makes NFL Decision

One Clemson Tiger has made a decision regarding his future.

Cornerback Avieon Terrell announced on Monday that he will forgo his senior season and enter the 2026 NFL Draft.

“Thank you for welcoming me and supporting me from the moment I stepped on campus,” the younger brother of former first-round pick A.J. Terrell posted to Instagram. “As a kid, I watched my brother AJ don the orange, purple and white and set a standard for our family.”

“With gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead, I am humbled to announce that I am declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft.”

The current Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist totaled 48 tackles and three sacks this season. His seven forced fumbles set a new program record for DBs at Clemson.

Over his three-year career, Terrell has been credited with 125 tackles, three interceptions, four sacks, nine tackles for loss and nine forced fumbles.
