Clemson’s Adam Randall put himself into elite company this season.
The senior running back became the fourth player in Clemson history to reach 750 career rushing yards and 750 career receiving yards, joining a trio of former star running backs – Travis Zachery, C.J. Spiller and Travis Etienne.
Of course, Randall was a wide receiver over his first three seasons before contributing at running back in the 2024 College Football Playoff against Texas, and then making the permanent position switch this year.
This season, Randall has started all 12 games, rushing for 779 yards and nine touchdowns on 157 carries, while catching 31 passes for 246 yards and three more scores.
The 6-foot-2, 235-pounder entered the 2025 campaign with 48 career catches for 533 yards and two touchdowns, as well as 44 rushing yards on four carries. He also returned four kickoffs for 89 yards over his first three seasons, including an unforgettable 41-yard return in the 2024 ACC Championship Game to help set up the Tigers’ game-winning field goal.
A former top-125 national prospect from Myrtle Beach, Randall recorded his first career 100-yard rushing game vs. Troy in the second game of the 2025 season. Against Syracuse, he amassed a career-high 227 all-purpose yards, becoming the first Clemson player to record 200 all-purpose yards since Will Shipley’s 242 yards against Syracuse in 2022. At North Carolina, he became the first Clemson running back to catch two touchdowns in a single game since Travis Etienne in the 2019 Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State. A week later at Boston College, he became the first Clemson player to score a touchdown in each of the first six games of a season since Travis Etienne in 2018.
Randall ran for 105 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries at Louisville, and then in the regular season rivalry finale at South Carolina, he rushed a career-high 24 times for 102 yards with a rushing touchdown and caught a two-point conversion.
