Clemson QB Accepts Invitation to All-Star Game

Cade Klubnik made an announcement about a college all-star football game.

The Clemson quarterback has officially accepted his invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl.

The East-West Shrine Bowl gives top college players the opportunity to showcase their talents to NFL scouts and a national television audience.

The 2026 East-West Shrine Bowl will take place at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, on January 27. It is set to kick off at 7 p.m. ET and will air on NFL Network.

Klubnik, who is getting ready to face Penn State in the Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 27 (noon, ABC), was also invited to play in the Senior Bowl all-star game on Jan. 31 (2:30 p.m. ET, NFL Network).

As a senior this season, Klubnik has thrown for 2,750 yards with 16 touchdown passes and six interceptions. He has also rushed for 107 more yards and four more scores.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder entered the 2025 season having previously passed for 7,180 yards with 57 touchdowns and 18 interceptions over 37 games (28 starts) from 2022-24, to go with 784 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns. He came into his senior campaign ranking in the top five in Clemson history in nearly every passing category.

This year, Klubnik, a two-time ACC Championship Game MVP, became the sixth Clemson quarterback since World War II to win at least 25 games as a starting quarterback.
