One 2027 Clemson target is down to five.
Five-star CB Hayden Stepp (Bishop Gorman, NV) released his top five schools late Sunday with Clemson, Oregon, Alabama, Miami and Tennessee each making the cut.
The 6-foot-3 defensive back picked up an offer from the Tigers after visiting for the SMU game.
“After a great conversation with Coach Swinney, I am blessed to say I received an offer from Clemson University,” Stepp posted to X.
As a junior, Stepp was credited with 24 tackles and four passes defended in nine games.
ESPN ranks the blue-chip talent No. 15 overall, No. 3 among all corners in the class and No. 1 in the state of Nevada. Three of the four major recruiting services rank him as one of the five-best players at his position.
