Cade Klubnik is taking that next step in his journey.

The outgoing Clemson quarterback announced in an Instagram story on Wednesday that he and longtime girlfriend Macey Matthews are officially engaged.

Klubnik just wrapped up his career with the Tigers in a 22-10 loss to Penn State in the Pinstripe Bowl.

Klubnik, who took over as the full-time starter as a sophomore, leaves as the school’s all-time leader in completions with 916, a record he set against the Nittany Lions.

The Austin, Texas native threw for 10,123 yards during his four-year career, with 73 touchdowns and 24 interceptions. He also rushed for 878 yards, with 17 more scores.

A former five-star prospect, Klubnik was the top-rated quarterback in the 2022 recruiting class.
