Portal Target Reschedules Visit to Clemson

One of Clemson’s portal targets has rescheduled his visit to campus.

Auburn transfer cornerback Donovan Starr was originally supposed to visit on Tuesday. However, The Clemson Insider has learned that the visit has now been pushed back to later in the week. Starr told TCI that he will now get to campus on Thursday evening or Friday morning. As of this writing, it is the only visit Starr has scheduled.

Starr, a four-star talent who signed with Auburn as part of the 2025 recruiting class, was also a Clemson target coming out of high school. He took an official visit to campus in June of 2024.

Starr appeared in nine games as a reserve in his debut season, with a lot of his time coming on special teams.

Coming out of high school, 247Sports ranked Starr No. 136 overall and No. 1 in the state of Tennessee. He had more than three dozen offers, with many of the nation’s best programs pulling the trigger.
