Clemson Portal Target Commits Elsewhere

A Clemson portal target came off the board fairly quickly.

FSU transfer DL Jayson Jenkins committed to Mississippi State on Monday. Jenkins was expected to visit Clemson at some point this week, although no official date had been confirmed. Arkansas and Georgia Tech were also on the docket for visits.

Jenkins spent his first three seasons at Tennessee before spending the 2025 campaign with the Seminoles. An offseason injury limited him early, but he would wind up logging more than 300 snaps for FSU.

Last season with the Seminoles, Jenkins started five games, with 16 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.
