A former Clemson Tiger has found his new home.
Clemson transfer DT Stephiylan Green has committed to LSU. The rising junior also had visits scheduled to Miami, Texas A&M and Southern Cal, but those are now not expected to transpire.
With Green landing with the Bayou Bengals and new head coach Lane Kiffin, that means he will get an opportunity to face off against his former team when Clemson travels to LSU on September 5 to start the 2026 season.
Green was a player Clemson had counted on to be a major part of next year’s defense. He entered the portal following a 2025 campaign during which he was sidelined with an injury for some of the season but showed flashes of dominance when healthy.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pounder started six of the 10 games he appeared in during the 2025 season, logging 18 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.
After redshirting in 2023, Green had a breakout campaign the following year, appearing in 12 games while recording 17 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack. He was a second-team freshman All-American selection by The Athletic during his redshirt freshman campaign.
