On Sunday, former Clemson star Tee Higgins set a new career-high in touchdown receptions, and he did so in spectacular fashion.
The sixth-year Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver made a remarkable one-handed touchdown grab late in the second quarter of his team’s game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in the final week of the NFL regular season.
The impressive 13-yard touchdown marked the 11th TD catch of the season for Higgins, who surpassed his previous career-high of 10 receiving TDs in 2024.
The one-handed snag, which you can see below, is even more incredible considering he was interfered with on the play. Defensive pass interference was called.
Higgins finished Sunday’s game with six catches for 67 yards and his touchdown. He concluded the 2025 season having caught 59 passes for 846 yards and 11 touchdowns in 15 games this season, and he came into Week 18 tied for fifth in the NFL in touchdown receptions, despite missing a couple of games due to concussions.
Coming into this season, Higgins had caught 330 passes for 4,595 yards and 34 touchdowns across 70 career regular season games, while recording at least 900 receiving yards in four of his first five seasons, including back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns in 2021 and 2022. Higgins has also appeared in seven playoff games and ranks second in Bengals history in both postseason receptions (31) and postseason receiving yards (457).
Back in March, Higgins signed a four-year deal with Cincinnati worth $115 million. He was drafted by the Bengals in the second round (No. 33 overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.
