A former Clemson target in the 2027 recruiting class has committed elsewhere.
Louisville (Ky.) safety Garyon Hobbs pledged to Indiana on Saturday.
Hobbs plays at Atherton High in Louisville but is transferring to Christian Academy of Louisville next season. The 6-foot, 205-pounder is rated as a three-star prospect and ranked as the No. 39 safety in the 2027 class by Rivals.
Hobbs picked up an offer from Clemson after an impressive showing at camp last June. He visited Clemson for its 2025 season opener against LSU on Aug. 30.
Hobbs held around 20 total offers, but chose the Hoosiers over others on his offer list including schools such as Notre Dame and Vanderbilt as well as Clemson, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Purdue and Wisconsin.
