A former Clemson tight end is heading to the Big 12.
Tigers’ transfer Josh Sapp announced a commitment to West Virginia late Sunday.
The rising redshirt senior appeared in all 13 games for the Tigers this season, with one start, recording 11 catches for 150 yards.
Over his four years with the program, Sapp has reeled in 24 receptions for 273 yards, with two touchdowns. His father, Patrick Sapp, was a starting quarterback for the Tigers his first three years (1992-94) before moving to outside linebacker in 1995.
Sapp was one of two legacy players to enter the transfer portal last week, joining running back Keith Adams Jr.
