There is one offensive line target Clemson is refusing to give up on.
Despite being left off four-star Reed Ramsier’s list of five finalists, offensive line coach Matt Luke stopped in to visit the blue-chip talent recently, and the 6-foot-5, 300-pound prospect has now set a future visit to Clemson.
Ramsier tells The Clemson Insider that he plans to be back on campus for a spring practice on March 6 and that he will attend the Elite Retreat the following day. He has not visited since picking up his offer last summer while working out at camp.
His list of five finalists released back in November included Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Miami and Texas.
Ramsier attends The First Academy in Orlando (FL) and is a former teammate of incoming freshman offensive lineman Chance Barclay.
247 ranks Ramsier No. 243 overall and No. 15 among all interior linemen in the 2027 class.
