National Outlet Identifies Best Landing Spot for Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins is set to hit the free-agent market again this offseason. So, where might the former Clemson star land in free agency this time around?

Pro Football Focus (PFF) identified the best landing spots for PFF’s top-10 highest-graded free agents on the offensive side of the ball.

PFF pegged one of Hopkins’ former teams – the Tennessee Titans – as the best landing spot for the 33-year-old wide receiver.

Hopkins, a five-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro, spent the 2025 season with the Baltimore Ravens after signing a one-year deal with the team last March. In 17 games with Baltimore, he hauled in 22 receptions for 330 yards and two touchdowns.

Hopkins played for the Titans during the 2023 season and part of the 2024 season before being traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in October 2024 in exchange for a conditional fifth-round pick. He went on to play in his first Super Bowl that season and caught a touchdown pass, as well as a two-point conversion, in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

“Although the former All-Pro receiver hasn’t seen a full-time role in some time, Hopkins continues to excel as a technician and veteran presence inside the locker room. Entering his age-34 season, Hopkins can still separate at a high level, as his 63.2% separation rate ranks top five among all pass-catchers this season,” PFF’s Mason Cameron wrote of Hopkins and the Titans as his best landing spot.

“With Calvin Ridley underperforming during his limited showing, Cam Ward was left with numerous first-year receivers playing key roles. As a result, the Titans’ receiving corps posted the NFL’s fifth-lowest passer rating when targeted (76.3). Bringing Hopkins in to mentor Ward and this young receiver room would pay off.”

Hopkins, who finished up his 13th NFL season in 2025, has amassed 1,006 receptions for 13,295 yards and 85 touchdowns over 195 games during his Hall of Fame-caliber career with the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Titans, Chiefs and Ravens since being selected by Houston in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft (No. 27 overall pick).

In November, PFF ranked Hopkins as the No. 14 overall free agent set to hit the market in 2026.
