Clemson’s Cade Klubnik received a nice honor ahead of the 2026 East-West Shrine Bowl.
Klubnik was named to the East-West Shrine Bowl’s “All-Practice Team” at the quarterback position, meaning he was a top performer in practice leading up to tonight’s East-West Shrine Bowl.
The East-West Shrine Bowl is an all-star game that gives top college players the opportunity to showcase their talents to NFL scouts and a national television audience.
You can see Klubnik play in the East-West Shrine Bowl, which takes place tonight at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. It is set to kick off at 7 p.m. ET and will air on NFL Network.
Klubnik spent four seasons at Clemson from 2022-25, including the last three seasons as the Tigers’ starting signal caller. He passed for 10,123 yards with 73 touchdowns and 24 interceptions over 49 games (40 starts) while also rushing for 878 yards and 17 touchdowns on 369 carries.
The former five-star prospect finished his Clemson career with 11,001 yards of total offense, becoming the fourth quarterback in school history to reach the 11,000-yard mark. Klubnik posted a 26-14 record as a starter, concluding his career fifth in wins by a starting quarterback in school history. He is one of six Tiger quarterbacks since World War II to win at least 25 games as a starting quarterback, and he became the third two-time ACC Championship Game MVP all-time.
Along with Klubnik, Clemson defensive tackle DeMonte Capehart and offensive tackle Tristan Leigh are on the East team’s roster for tonight’s East-West Shrine Bowl.
