Clemson’s Latest Top 25 Rankings Released

The latest USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll was released on Monday, as well as the latest AP Top 25 Men’s College Basketball Poll.

Clemson (18-4, 8-1 ACC) is still ranked No. 19 in the Coaches Poll, while Clemson moved up to No. 20 in the AP Poll.

Last week, the Tigers were No. 19 in the Coaches Poll and No. 22 in the AP Poll.

Clemson played just one game this past week – a 63-52 victory over Pittsburgh at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson on Saturday.

Clemson held Pittsburgh to a season-low 19.2 percent from 3-point range (5-of-26) and a season-low 16 first half points. The Tigers improved to 15-3 all-time against Pittsburgh and won their 15th in a row over the Panthers.

It marked Clemson head coach Brad Brownell’s 200th home win while at Clemson, as well as his 310th win at Clemson overall and the 477th overall victory in his head coaching career.

In January, Clemson tied for its best winning percentage in the month since 1935 – Clemson went 7-1 this season and 7-1 last season.

Clemson returns to the court on Wednesday at Stanford (10 p.m., ACC Network) before the Tigers travel to Cal on Saturday (8 p.m., ACCN).

Clemson remains in second place in the ACC standings behind Duke (20-1, 9-0 ACC).
