On The Joel Klatt Show, Klatt — Fox Sports’ lead college football analyst, who has also been a contributor to NFL Network’s draft coverage in recent years – went through his first mock draft for the 2026 NFL Draft.
Klatt – who picked Clemson to win the national championship this past season, and then later ate crow for that prediction – still projects multiple Tigers to be selected in the first round of this spring’s draft.
Klatt’s mock draft has three Clemson players being taken in a span of four picks at the end of the first round, starting with offensive tackle Blake Miller to the Houston Texans (No. 28 overall pick).
“Houston’s defense is elite. They need to keep building on the offensive side of the ball, keep helping [quarterback C.J.] Stroud. The O-line was better this past season, from a disaster in ’24, but they can continue to improve up front. … Blake Miller, the tackle from Clemson, is a really good player,” Klatt said.
“I know that Clemson disappointed from a team perspective, but there’s a few players that are gonna get in here at the end of the first round, that are really solid guys. And Blake Miller is one of those. Started all 54 games in his four-year career for Dabo. He played over 3,700 snaps, so he’s a reliable guy, and you can give Stroud a little bit of help up front.”
One pick after Miller, Klatt sees Clemson cornerback Avieon Terrell coming off the board as the No. 29 overall pick of the Los Angeles Rams.

“The Rams have a few corners that are set to be free agents this offseason. So, why not bring in an All-American corner?” Klatt said. “And here’s another Clemson guy, Avieon Terrell. Again, Clemson disappointed. That doesn’t mean that some of their top-end guys aren’t still elite guys, and Terrell is still one of those guys, and the Rams can get better – and in particular, in a position where there’s some murkiness as far as the future with all of these free agents on the outside. Terrell fits that mold.”
Rounding out the Clemson players in Klatt’s mock draft is edge rusher T.J. Parker. Klatt predicts Parker to be drafted by the New England Patriots with the No. 31 overall pick.
“The Patriots could use some more firepower at wide receiver, but they also need help on the edge,” Klatt said. “… T.J. Parker from Clemson. I told you there’d be a little bit of a run on Clemson guys. … Parker was considered a candidate to be a top-10 pick coming into the season. He disappointed a little bit. Maybe that’s why Clemson didn’t quite live up to the expectations of some of us who said they were going to win the national championship. Just five sacks after 11 as a sophomore. I think this could be an upside pick.”
The 2026 NFL Draft will take place from April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.
