Clemson Administrator Moving On

Clemson’s deputy athletic director is headed elsewhere to take the athletic director job at a Group of Five school.

Kevin White is expected to become the next AD at Charlotte, The Clemson Insider has confirmed.

White has served as Clemson’s deputy athletic director since April 19, 2022. Among his primary duties has been sport supervisor for the Clemson football and basketball programs, and the basketball program is currently enjoying the best four-year stretch in school history.

White has been the deputy AD since Graham Neff was promoted to athletic director.

Prior to his time at Clemson, White worked as deputy AD and Chief Operating Officer at Northwestern, and Chief Operating Officer at SMU.

At Clemson, White has served in a key leadership role with IPTAY, Clemson Athletics’ fundraising arm.

The Chattanooga, Tennessee native earned a bachelors degree from the University of North Carolina, where he was a member of the junior varsity basketball team. He also earned a master’s degree at Georgia State and an MBA at Kennesaw State.
