CLEMSON — Less than a week out from the event, and we are still adding names to the guest list for the Clemson Elite Retreat.

Three-star in-state linebacker Jackson Ross (Hammond) tells The Clemson Insider that he will be at the event on Saturday. He is also a standout for the Hammond basketball team.

While the Tigers have yet to offer, Ross does currently hold offers from South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Texas Tech, North Carolina and Duke, among others.

As a junior, the 6-foot-4, 215-pound linebacker totaled 102 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, eight sacks, eight pass breakups and one interception. On the offensive side of the ball, Ross reeled in 10 catches for 218 yards. Seven of those receptions went for touchdowns. Ross was named first-team All-Midlands by The State newspaper.
