Klubnik 40 Time at Clemson Pro Day

Clemson is holding its annual Pro Day on Thursday inside the Poe Indoor Facility.

Cade Klubnik, the Tigers’ starting quarterback for the past three seasons, posted an unofficial time of 4.57. His second run was 4.58 unofficially.

Klubnik threw for more than 10,000 yards during his Clemson career, with 73 touchdowns and 24 interceptions. He added 878 rushing yards with 17 more scores. Klubnik is just the fourth quarterback in school history to go over the 11,000-yard mark. He is widely considered a late Day 2 to early Day 3 NFL Draft pick, which will be held April 23-25.

Klubnik exited Clemson as the school-record-holder in pass completions (916) and pass attempts (1,432), third in passing yards (10,123) and fourth in passing touchdowns (73), total touchdown responsibility (90) and yards of total offense (11,001). He joined Rodney Williams (44), Tajh Boyd (40), Nealon Greene (40) and Charlie Whitehurst (40) as the fifth quarterback in Clemson history to start 40 career games at quarterback.

He posted a 26-14 record as a starter, concluding his career fifth in wins by a starting quarterback in school history. Klubnik was also a two-time ACC Championship Game MVP.
