One Clemson draft prospect is making pre-draft visits with these NFL teams.

The New England Patriots played host to former Tiger running back Adam Randall on a top-30 visit Tuesday, while he will also make a 30 visit with the Houston Texans.

A top-30 visit is an official pre-draft meeting where NFL teams invite up to 30 draft-eligible prospects to their facilities for interviews and medical evaluations.

The 2026 NFL Draft will take place from April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.

The 6-foot-3.1, 231-pound Randall recorded a time of 4.50 in the 40-yard dash at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine – an impressive time at his size. That time ranks eighth among running backs who ran the 40 at the combine.

Randall ranked first among all running backs with 26 bench press reps at the NFL Combine, and his vertical jump (37 inches) and broad jump (10-foot-4) rank in the top five at his position, while his 10-yard split (1.60 seconds) is in the top 10.

He continued to impress at Clemson’s Pro Day on March 12, posting a 4.31 shuttle time that would have tied for the second-best of any running back at the NFL Combine, while also showing off his route-running ability and skills as a receiver from the RB position.

ESPN NFL Draft analyst Jordan Reid was present for Clemson’s Pro Day and had praise for Randall after the event.

“Leaving Clemson Pro Day. My biggest takeaway? Some team is going to get an absolute steal in RB Adam Randall,” Reid wrote in a social media post. “He has aced the pre-draft process. Considering he’s a converted WR, his upside as a do-it-all weapon and return specialist are immense.”

After spending most of his first three college seasons as a wide receiver, Randall contributed at running back in the 2024 College Football Playoff prior to making the permanent position switch in 2025. He earned honorable-mention All-ACC honors this past season while rushing for 813 yards and 10 touchdowns on 168 carries. He averaged 4.8 yards per carry and also registered 36 receptions for 254 yards and three more touchdowns, while averaging 23.7 yards per kickoff return.

In 2025, Randall became the fourth player in Clemson history to reach 750 career rushing yards and 750 career receiving yards, joining Travis Zachery, C.J. Spiller and Travis Etienne.

During his four-year Clemson career from 2022-25, Randall recorded 172 carries for 858 yards with 10 touchdowns, while also hauling in 84 receptions for 787 yards and five receiving touchdowns over 50 games, including 20 starts.

Randall was also credited with 13 career kickoff returns for 302 yards (23.2 average) — including a memorable 41-yard return in the 2024 ACC Championship Game to help set-up Clemson’s game-winning field goal.
