One of the more highly-touted defensive linemen in the 2027 class has locked in plans to give Clemson an official visit.
Four-star in-state DT Seth Tillman (South Pointe) tells The Clemson Insider the Tigers will indeed get an official. However, it won’t be during the big official visit weekend in late May. Tillman is scheduled to be at Georgia that weekend.
Instead, Tillman will be at Clemson June 12-13. A similar situation is taking place with three-star DL Kalib Spivey. He will also take his official visit with the Tigers the same weekend.
Tillman Official Visit Schedule
- South Carolina: May 1-2
- Georgia: May 29-30
- Clemson: June 12-13
Tillman has long been on Clemson’s radar, picking up one of the Tigers’ opening offers last summer after working out at camp. He returned for the season-opener against LSU, then was back a little over a week ago for the Elite Retreat.
“Clemson was awesome,” Tillman told TCI after the most recent visit. “I learned a lot about expectations from the coaches.”
As a junior, the 6-foot-4, 270-pound prospect totaled 61 tackles, 27 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks.
The Rivals Industry Rankings slot him No. 136 overall, No. 14 among all defensive linemen and No. 2 in the state of South Carolina.
