One in-state prospect is set to visit Clemson for a second time this spring.
2027 ATH Xavier Geter (Midland Valley) will be back on campus for the spring game on March 28. Geter already visited once, attending a spring practice on March 2.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound prospect primarily plays quarterback at the high school level, but Geter tells The Clemson Insider the Tigers’ coaching staff is looking at him as a safety.
“I’m looking forward to how their live action is,” Geter said. “How competitive they get in a game.”
As a junior, Geter passed for 2,124 yards with 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also rushed for 481 yards, with eight more scores via his legs. All he wants is an opportunity and he is hoping one will persent itself with the Tigers.
“That means im doing something good,” he said. “In and outside of school.”
Geter is also scheduled to visit Coastal Carolina on March 24 and Charlotte on April 11.
