The Clemson football program has picked up a new commitment on the defensive side of the ball.
Class of 2027 safety Seth Williams has committed to the Tigers.
Williams made a trip to Tigertown on Tuesday. He didn’t hold an offer from Clemson coming into the visit, but that changed, and he subsequently pledged to Dabo Swinney’s program.
Williams is a three-star prospect, per Rivals and 247Sports. He lists around three dozen total scholarship offers.
Williams hails from Lakeside High School in Atlanta. As a junior in 2025, he recorded 73 tackles, two interceptions, five tackles for loss, one forced fumble and five pass breakups, to go with 10 receptions for 222 yards and three touchdowns.
He is now the seventh commitment in Clemson’s 2027 class, joining four-star linebacker Bryce Kish, four-star receiver Trey Wimbley, three-star linebacker Max Brown, four-star quarterback Kharim Hughley, three-star safety Harrison Luke and three-star cornerback Christian “PJ” Chancellor Jr.
