Clemson’s Clark Earns All-America Honors

CLEMSON — Clemson gymnast Brie Clark has been named a Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Regular Season First-Team All-American on floor exercise, becoming the first All-American in program history and the first coached by Justin Howell and Liz Crandall-Howell at Clemson.

Clark helped Clemson to the 2026 ACC Gymnastics Championship on Mar. 21 after a 9.925 on floor and 9.850s on both vault and beam.

The Clemson star earned the honor with a 9.945 National Qualifying Score (NQS), the highest by any Atlantic Coast Conference gymnast on any event in 2026. She was also named All-ACC on floor, marking the third All-ACC selection of her career on the event. During the 2026 season, Clark recorded nine event titles on floor and two on beam, along with 19 podium finishes.

She posted a score of 9.900 or higher on floor in all 12 meets, the only gymnast nationally to do so, and compiled a 161-3-5 head-to-head record on the event. Her 9.975 on Feb. 20 against Pitt tied for the highest individual routine in program history.

Clark earned ACC Specialist of the Week honors three times, the most of any gymnast in the conference during the 2026 season.

For her career, Clark has competed in 84 routines, totaling 823.900 points, both ranking third in program history. She holds the program record for total points on both floor and beam. On floor, Clark owns a 9.882 career average, with 28 of 36 routines (77.8%) scoring 9.800 or higher, including 13 scores of 9.900 or better.
