Clemson Showing Interest In Transfer Forward

The transfer portal is officially set to open on Tuesday, and with that, expect Brad Brownell to once again to be fairly active as he goes about filling out his roster for next season.

One name worth keeping an eye on is Loyola transfer Emmett Adair. According to a report from The Field of 64’s Jeff Goodman, Clemson has shown early interest. Nevada, Tennessee, Colorado, Washington St, High Point, George Mason, Colorado St are other schools showing interest.

The 6-foot-9, 230-pound forward just wrapped up his freshman season, earning All Patriot League third team honors, as well as Patriot League All-Rookie honors.

Adair appeared in 27 games, making 15 starts during his freshman campaign, averaging 14.6 points and a team-high 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting 46.6 percent from the field. He was second on the team in scoring and shot 31.5% from beyond the arc.

So far, the Tigers have only lost one player from last year’s team to the portal, with Jake Wahlin announcing last week his intentions to enter.
