CLEMSON — The Football Writers Association of America announced Thursday that Clemson has been named one of 11 recipients of its annual Super 11 Awards, presented to football programs and sports information departments that exemplify excellent media relations.
This year’s honor represents Clemson’s 13th all-time selection, once again extending its record for the most in the award’s 17-year history. The selection in the wake of the 2025 season also represents the 11th consecutive year Clemson has collected the honor, the longest streak in the award’s history.
Clemson continues to run the majority of its media operations out of the Smart Family Media Center, a best-in-class media workspace that opened on the ground level of the Clemson Athletics Branding Institute in 2023.
“As a program, this is not an honor we take lightly or take for granted, so we are extremely grateful to the Football Writers Association of America for honoring our players and staff this way for the 11th consecutive year,” said Ross Taylor, Clemson Associate Athletic Director for Football Communications & Strategic Initiatives. “This is a reflection of the availability, authenticity and attitude of our players and staff, the support of our administration, as well as the hard work of our communications staff and students among many others. We are appreciative of all who are committed to helping tell the stories of those who comprise our program.”
