A former Clemson target has made his college decision.

Five-star OL Maxwell Hiller (Coatesville Area, PA) announced a commitment to Florida on Wednesday, choosing the Gators over Alabama, Tennessee and Ohio State.

Hiller picked up one of Clemson’s opening offers last summer, and while Dabo Swinney and Matt Luke were in to see him during the contact period in January, the Tigers did not make his list of finalists released in February.

247 ranks Hiller No. 4 overall, No. 1 among all interior linemen in the 2027 class and No. 1 in his state.

Clemson does have six verbal pledges in the 2027 class, but has yet to land an offensive lineman.

Here are some of the targets expected to be at the big official visit weekend from May 29-31.

• Four-star Carter Jones
• Four-star Nate Carson
• Four-star Peyton Miller
• Four-star Reed Ramsier
