More Weekend Visitors for Clemson

Another weekend, another recruiting event at Clemson.

The Tigers will host a number of potential future targets on Saturday, with numerous 2028 prospects set to be on campus. Clemson will begin handing out offers to players in that class in June.

A couple of those will be high-profile quarterbacks. As previously reported, four-star Trace Hawkins (Calhoun, GA) will be making the second of his two spring visits. Hawkins was also on hand for the spring game. Rivals ranks him No. 139 overall and No. 11 among all quarterbacks in the 2028 class. Auburn, Duke, Indiana, Florida, Georgia Tech and SMU are some of the schools that have already offered.

Four-star QB Kaden Craft (Lake Norman, NC) will also be on hand. Florida, Florida State, Miami, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee are some of the early offers for the 6-foot-4 signal caller. The 247 Composite ranks Craft as the sixth-best quarterback in the class.

One of the top tight ends in the 2028 class is also set to travel in. Four-star Lee Steele (Orange Beach, AL) will be in attendance. The 6-foot-6 recruit has early offers from Alabama, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Auburn.

Four-star LB and legacy recruit Jay Schell (Rabun Gap, GA) will visit again on Saturday. His father, Matt Schell, was a quarterback on the team during the Tommy Bowden years. The 6-foot-3 recruit has become a hot commodity and now has more than 30 offers, including Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Texas A&M.

2028 in-state DB Desiray Christian (Greenwood) will be making his second spring visit on Saturday. Duke, Kansas State, North Carolina, Louisville and NC State are some of the early offers for the 6-foot talent.

As TCI noted on Wednesday, four-star in-state wideout Jordan Gorham (Timberland) will be back on campus on Saturday. The 6-foot-5 receiver is the top player in the state of South Carolina for the 2028 class. Gorham has visited multiple times in the past, including a game day visit last season. Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville and South Carolina represent some of his early offers.
