Clemson Reaches Out to Quinnipiac Transfer

Following a strong sophomore season, this big man in the transfer portal is attracting interest from a bunch of schools – Clemson included.

The Tigers are among the teams that have reached out to Quinnipiac transfer forward Grant Randall, according to New England Recruiting Report director Dylan Thayer.

Randall has also heard from another ACC program in NC State, per Thayer, along with other schools BYU, Cincinnati, Dayton, Duquesne, George Mason, George Washington, Texas A&M, Toledo and VCU.

As a sophomore during the 2025-26 season, Randall averaged 11.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 31.6 minutes per contest across 32 games (31 starts) while shooting 45.7  percent from the field and 32.3 percent from 3-point range. Thayer noted that Randall topped the MAAC in dunks and offensive rating, and finished seventh in rebounding.

During his first season with the Bobcats in 2024-25, the 6-foot-9, 195-pounder scored 62 points and grabbed 62 rebounds over 32 games, averaging 1.9 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest.

Randall wrapped up his prep career up at Putnam Science Academy (Putnam, Conn.), averaging 6.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game over the 2023-24 season. He was ranked as the seventh-best player in the state of Connecticut by New England Recruiting Report. He was the 23rd-ranked player in the region by Prep Hoops New England.
