Clemson Lands Another Big Portal Target

Brad Brownell has landed another one.

Samford transfer Dylan Faulkner has committed to Clemson. He visited campus last weekend.

Faulkner’s announcement comes on the heels of Notre Dame transfer Cole Certa officially signing with the Tigers. Both are considered Top 100 portal players.

Faulkner spent his first two seasons at Lipscomb before spending his junior campaign at Samford.

The 6-foot-9 big man averaged 17.2 points, 8.6 boards and 1.5 blocks during the 2026-26 season and was first-team All-SoCon. Faulkner was also named a first-team defender last season, which will fit in well with Brownell’s philosophy.

With RJ Godfrey and Nick Davidson both out of eligibility, and Carter Welling’s timeline for a return from an ACL tear unclear at this point, this is a big get for the Tigers.
