Clemson Lands Commitment from SEC Transfer

Shawn Poppie and Clemson have added another piece from the portal.

Arkansas transfer Jenna Lawrence has committed to Clemson. The 6-foot-3 junior averaged 7.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per game last season. She shot 41% from the field last season, including 36% from beyond the arc.

Lawrence spent her first three seasons with the Razorbacks. As a freshman, she appeared in 24 games, with two starts, averaging 2.5 points per contest. As a sophomore, she started 20 games, scoring 5.7 points per game.

Lawrence was a four-star prospect coming out of high school, ranking No. 61 overall per the HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings. She was also an ESPN100 prospect.

This is another big portal addition for Poppie, as the Tigers also landed Virginia Tech transfer Mackenzie Nelson earlier in the week.
