Former Clemson Guard Finds Newest College Home

A former Clemson guard has found his newest college home.

Del Jones is transferring to Seton Hall.

It will mark Jones’ third school in as many seasons. The 6-foot-3, 187-pounder spent his freshman season (2024-25) at Clemson after signing with the Tigers out of high school. Jones then transferred to Radford for the 2025-26 campaign.

Jones started all 32 games for Radford this past season, averaging 17.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, while shooting 41.6 percent from the field and 30.9 percent from 3-point range. He earned second-team All Big South honors.

During his lone season at Clemson, Jones averaged 3.8 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game over 32 contests while shooting 40.3 percent from the field and 31.1 percent from 3.

Jones was a four-star prospect, according to ESPN, which ranked him as the No. 5 prospect in the state of Virginia and the No. 32 point guard in the 2024 recruiting class. The Arlington, Va. native chose Clemson over Arizona State, Oregon, Seton Hall and West Virginia.
