A top in-state target is down to five schools.

Four-star OL Nate Carson (Irmo) named Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas A&M finalists on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-6, 290-pounder picked up an offer from the Tigers last October and was on campus twice during the spring, including a visit for the Elite Retreat.

Carson is also set to be at the big official visit weekend, May 29-31.

247 ranks Carson No. 168 overall and No. 21 among all interior linemen in the 2027 class.
