New Recruiting Target Sets Official Visit

There is a new recruiting target for Clemson at cornerback.

Three-star Brandon Leavell (Goodpasture Christian, TN) announced an offer from the Tigers on Monday after having visited campus over the weekend.

Now that he has the offer, Leavell tells The Clemson Insider that he’s now locked in plans to be at the big official visit weekend, May 29-31. He was originally planning to be at Purdue that weekend.

The 6-foot-2 defensive back also has officials set with Tennessee (May 21), NC State (June 5) and Florida State (June 12). Some of the other teams to have offered include Ole Miss, Florida, Auburn and Missouri.

As a junior, Leavell played both ways. On the offensive side, he reeled in 35 catches for 735 yards with 12 touchdowns. On the defensive side, he picked off four passes.

Other cornerbacks set to be on hand for the big official visit weekend include four-star Jayden Aparicio-Bailey, three-star Bryant Robinson, three-star Bryce Williams and three-star Seth Williams.
