ESPN’s Kiley McDaniel released his updated MLB Draft rankings ahead of college baseball’s conference tournaments.
Two current Clemson pitchers made McDaniel’s list of the top 155 draft prospects, as did one Clemson commit — Blake Bryant.
Bryant, a righthanded pitcher from Citizens Christian Academy in Georgia, checked in at No. 110. He has put up stellar numbers during his senior season, as you can see below:
As for the two current Clemson players, righthanded pitcher Aidan Knaak is ranked No. 129 on McDaniel’s list of the top draft prospects, while lefthanded pitcher Justin LeGuernic is No. 151.
Entering the ACC Tournament, Knaak has a 2-6 record with a 5.81 ERA and 1.65 WHIP in 57.1 innings pitched across 13 appearances (all starts) this season. He has allowed 71 hits and 23 walks while striking out 88 batters.
When he struck out eight batters against Boston College on May 3, Knaak became the seventh Tiger in history and first since Ryan Mottl (1997-00) to reach 300 career strikeouts.
Knaak is a two-time, first-team All-ACC selection who became the first Clemson pitcher to earn first-team All-ACC honors in each of his first two seasons. He had one of the best seasons ever by a Tiger freshman pitcher in 2024 and was effective as a sophomore in 2025, when he posted a 9-1 record and 4.18 ERA in 16 starts. In 90.1 innings pitched, he allowed 71 hits and 29 walks with 110 strikeouts. As a freshman, Knaak owned a 5-1 record and 3.35 ERA in 15 starts. In 83.1 innings pitched, he allowed 67 hits and 29 walks with 108 strikeouts.
Meanwhile, LeGuernic has made 19 appearances this season entering the ACC Tournament, all in relief. He has a 4-2 record with three saves and has pitched to a 4.69 ERA and 1.47 WHIP over 40.1 innings pitched, while allowing 38 hits and 21 walks with 50 strikeouts.
LeGuernic was a reliever in his first season at Clemson in 2024 and was a starter during the first half of 2025. Over 21 appearances (seven starts) in his first two seasons at Clemson, he had an 0-4 record and 8.62 ERA while allowing 36 hits and 25 walks with 43 strikeouts in 31.1 innings pitched.
The 2026 MLB Draft starts July 11 in Philadelphia.
