Clemson has landed its second commitment of the day.
Four-star WR Jamarin Simmons announced a commitment to the Tigers on Wednesday, choosing Clemson over Florida, Florida State, Auburn and Tennessee.
Simmons was the first 2027 receiver to pick up an offer after an impressive showing at camp last June.
The 5-foot-11 playmaker was last on campus for the Elite Retreat in March and is set to be back for the big official visit weekend, May 29-31.
As a junior, Simmons reeled in 59 catches for 932 yards with 14 touchdowns. He also went 2-of-2 passing for 120 yards with one touchdown throw.
247 ranks the blue-chip talent No. 61 overall and as the 10th best receiver in the class.
Simmons becomes the 10th member of the 2027 class, and the second receiver, joining four-star Trey Wimbley. The class now ranks No. 14 in the Rivals Industry Rankings.
This marks the second commit for the Tigers on Wednesday. and third this week. Four-star RB Gary Walker announced a verbal pledge earlier in the day. Four-star safety Jarrell Chandler also committed on Monday.
